Chapter 3

Right after he left, I went in front of Onew’s room and knock few times before it finally opens

“Can I come in?” I asked him nicely
“Come, sit here” he invited me in and let me sat down on what of those wide beds

“So what are we planning?” I asked him curiously

“Wait, I’m gonna call someone” he dialed the numbers and I just stared at him

All of the sudden, he speaks “Jonghyun, it’s an emergency, come quick! Go straight to our house!” he then hung up.

“Why did you call him?” I asked him still being suspicious
“Just wait for 5 minutes he’ll be here” he started to dial some numbers again but it appears to be he’s talking so sweetly to that person. I guess it’s his girlfriend
“Yah, come home now. I miss you so much~” he started to talk absurd on the phone and it just made me chuckle

“Wait,” he paused and looked at me “What’s so funny?” he asked cutely
“Nothing” I smiled

“I’m still waiting~” he started to talk on the phone again

Five minutes passed and the doorbell rings
“See, he’s here” he stood up and open the door

“What’s the emergency, hyung?” Jonghyun asked still gasping since he scampered 10 blocks away from this house
“Come with me” I can hear them getting close in the room

“Yunni?” Jonghyun was surprised seeing me
“Hello Jonghyun oppa!” I greeted him happily

“Is she the emergency you’re talking about?” he asked Onew incongruously
“Yeah.” He stopped talking and drags Jonghyun beside me

“Well, you see. Yunni, your cousin, is extremely in love with Taemin, my brother” it’s getting really embarrassing here

“Ah… So it is true~” he started to annoy me
“Yes. It’s true. Now we need a plan to make Taemin fall for her, too. What’s the plan?” Onew asked Jonghyun

“Well, I can tell that Taemin has slight feelings for Yunni, or I’m just thinking things. Onew hyung, describe Taemin” Now, they’re start planning

“Taemin—childish, cute, great dancer, onto sports, speaks Chinese, sometimes nice sometimes cruel oh yeah, he’s also the jealous type” Onew clarified

“Jealous type, eh? I have a really good plan for you” now Jonghyun started to think
“Why don’t you make him jealous?” Jonghyun declared

“How am I supposed to do that?” I asked oddly while looking at him with a little curiosity

“Easy, use someone else’s name and always talks about that someone else” Jonghyun replied
“Huh?” I retorted weirdly

“Now I get you. You should make Taemin jealous by having a crush on someone that you don’t really like. Always ask things about that someone even though you’re only interested in him and never forget to bogus that you’re imagining about that someone but you’re actually imagining about him” Onew put in plain words

“That was a mouth full. But whose someone is that?” I asked again
“You can’t use my name since I’m your cousin and everyone else knows that” Jonghyun moved back

“Oh, oh, I know! You can use my name instead, since we just met, you can use that coincident to play a little joke on him” why do this boys think so well, I mean. I don’t really have a plan in mind. Maybe I should study more?

“Thanks, guys. I really appreciate that you helped me plan all this craziness” Then they started to hug me and it’s really uncomfortable

“Jonghyun oppa, send me home please~” I used my magical powers—puppy-dog eyes here we go

“Okay. Onew, we’ll be going. See you tomorrow” we finally said our goodbyes and went home

[Taemin’s POV]
I don’t know why Eomma always ask me to buy this food. It supposed to be hyung who’s buying this. I finally reached home and found Yunni and Jonghyun walking together

“Jonghyun hyung, why are you here?” I asked as we passed each other coz they didn’t notice

“Taemin, I didn’t see you there. I picked her up” he responded and Yunni just msiled at me and they finally left


I gave Eomma the tofu and went straight to the room
“Hyung, what is Jonghyun hyung doing here?” I asked him to be sure
“He picked up Yunni… Taeyeon!” then hyung just shouted Taeyeon noona’s name again. He always does this time of the night

[Yunni’s POV]
Day 1

I started the day with a sigh. The plan starts here…
“Weh?” Taemin asked me why
“I can’t forget his face~” I sighed again
“Dugu?” he asked me who
“You know~”
“I don’t know.”

“Your hyung, Onew oppa~”
“Eh?” now he’s falling to our evil plan
“You wouldn’t know how I feel~” so I just rolled my eyes away form him

But as I pretend to be not looking I watch him, he’s confused again, and he’s shaking his head right and left slowly. He wouldn’t know I’m faking it. His mind is much more crowded than mine.

I was doing the joke all day without being noticed by Taemin
“Yah, Taemin, will your brother go here? When? Tell me!” I keep asking him the same question all day, too

“Ah, I don’t know~” he started to act annoyed

“Eh, what are you talking about?” Aeri unni entered the room
“Hey Noona~” now all his attention goes to her… now it’s like a bomb… it’s already exploded…

“Aren’t we starting yet?” she asked and I just nodded sluggishly.
Time passed and it’s time to go home. First day of the plan—FAILED. Get ready for the second day Taemin, I will never give up!

My hand phone suddenly ring as I was lying on my bed
“Yeoboseyo?” I asked
“Yah, is our plan working?” it was Jonghyun checking on the plan and not me

“Aniyo~” I retort with a really upset tone
“Don’t be sad. It’s just the first day. I’ll be seeing how you’re doing tomorrow” then he hung up the phone. That was cruel. He was worrying about the plan and not his cousin, what kind of guy is that?! He only cares about his girlfriend and bad pranks. I could’ve wished to have a better cousin.

“Yunni, Jonghyun’s looking for you” my mom knocks on my door
“That’s weird, he’s here?” I run down to the front door and there was Jonghyun, standing dorkishly.

“Miss me?”
“You’re being too corny” I responded
“Auntie, can I sleep here tonight?” I know he’ll ask that and as usual when he asks that, my mom just smile and nod

“You sleep in the floor, I’ll sleep in your bed” he said bossily which didn’t make me happy

“What?!” I said horrified
“Just kidding~” can I ask why smart guys like him doesn’t seem to be funny when they’re telling jokes?

Day 2

It was a sunny morning at the dance room; I was listening to Stand by Me. It was the latest favorite song of everyone else in the school so I have to blend in but I have to say, this isn’t my favorite… yet

“Hyungs, why are you coming here, please don’t” it was Taemin’s voice from the outside door, he sounds like he was pleading for someone

“Hey cousin!” it was Jonghyun with… “Onew Oppa!” thank God they’re here
“Aren’t you supposed to greet me first?” Jonghyun started to act dumb
“You’re not that important… Onew oppa, what brings you here?” day 2 plan seems to be working out well. Taemin’s all probing

“Well, the last time I’ve been here was a really long time ago. I wanna see how Taemin was doing as well as you do” wow, Onew oppa is a really good raconteur

“Well, do you want something? Drinks? Snacks? Anything?” I started to do something foolish like Jonghyun did

“What about me?” Jonghyun asked
“I told you, you’re not that important… Onew oppa, what do you want?”

“AH!!!” Taemin screamed “I’m really puzzled here!” he sat down at a corner and writes something
“DON’T DISTURB?” it was what’s written on the paper he stick on his forehead

“Yah, how do you think our acting is affecting Taemin?” Jonghyun whispered
“It’s distressing him… so much. Ha-ha” I laughed

“What are you laughing at?!” he then yelled again

“I’ll be looking forward how he’ll say ‘I’m totally jealous of you and Yunni, I think I’ve already fallen for her’. How that sounds like?” Onew said with another laugh

“AH!!!” another scream
“Yah, Taemin. Onew oppa’s ears are hurting because of you being so loud so stop it!”

Day 2 was one of the best times of my life; I can’t believe how he’s reacting about everything. Is it really frustrating? What am I going to do on day 3; I think it’ll be the hardest
