Chapter 2

[Yunni’s POV]
“Yunni, wait!” Taemin calls me as I walk onward
I looked at him curiously “I thought we’ll go home together~” he’s acting babyish again
“But we never did go home together. Don’t you remember I go in the right way and you go in the left way” I clarified
So I walked few steps more and he just keep following me
“Weh?” I asked him ruthlessly

“Come with me.” He grabs my hand and pulled it
“Where are we going?” I asked unknowingly what to do. We paused for a bit
“I have a really cool place to show you!” then he started running again

I just keep following him without knowing where we will go. We passed some places I haven’t been even if I’m living in Seoul since I was birth; that really is unfamiliar in my eyes until we ended in a store
“Where are we?” I asked strangely but instead of answering back, he just pulled me inside the store

“Aw… So cute!” I ran inside seeing so much dogs circling around me
“How did you know this place?” I asked him while playing with the dogs

“Well, hyung one’s brought me here” he retort then pat the dog’s head
“I wish I can buy myself a puppy but my mom won’t let me. Can I stay here like… forever?” I asked without being serious and he just laughed at me

We stayed there for an hour and that made me being moved. We fool around with the puppies; we feed them and play some doggy game. Yeah, a little childish but it’s super fun. Right after then, Taemin walked me home
“I had a really great time~” I said smiling at him
“I’m glad you did” he assumed and scratched his head

“Let’s come back there some other time, can we?” I asked gladly
“Anytime you want. Well, I’m going. It’s getting really late. See you tomorrow!” he waved at me as he goes.

When I closed the door, I leaned on it for a sec and think, I never thought that Taemin would do such a really fun thing with me. I mean, he never did ask me to go some place that makes me happy. I went inside my room and be in awe. I’m really stunned by my own actions with him. It really changed.

There is only one thing I’m sure of… I’m unconditionally and irrevocably INLOVE with him…

[Taemin’s POV]
“Taemin, where have you been?” my mom asked angrily while me looking at her quite uncomfortable
“Uhm… I’m with my friend. We went to that dog shop near the market, you know, where Hyung brought me last year” I explained putting my bag aside
“Oh good, it’s still standing there but you do know your curfew~” suddenly, hyung came out from the room “I miss you already~” he continued talking but not with me, with Taeyeon noona in the phone since she’s still in Sokcho
“Sorry hyung, sorry Eomma~” I apologized to them and then Eomma invited me to eat dinner. She gives me a bowl of rice and she serves different dishes she prepared while hyung was standing in front of us still talking on the phone.

“Hyung, when will Taeyeon noona come back?” I asked curiously as we watched TV
“She just left 3 days ago, so she wouldn’t be back for 2 weeks. I think you miss her more than I do” he puts in plain words then eat the snack he bought yesterday

“Oh, okay.” A sudden silent come between us, me longing for the snack he was eating, looking at him as he munch it one by one, my tongue is tickling. He looked at me and smirked

“You want some?” he asked “Absolutely!” then I clutch some from the container.

“Noona!” I called Aeri noona as I saw her enter the school gate
“Good Morning” she greeted me happily

“Are you going to your first class?” I asked her unusually but instead of answering me she just gazed at me and smiled, I guess I was showing off my affection too silly.

“Taemin!” a familiar voice called me and when I turn around it was Yunni
“Noona, I’ll be going. See you later!” I said goodbye to her and she did as well.

“What is it?” I asked Yunni as I dash towards her
“Nothing. I just wanna walk with you” she answered blissfully
“You’re really weird. I can’t believe you’re my friend”
“Me neither~” she retort jokingly

“Annyeong Unni!” it was really weird that Yunni greeted Aeri noona first; I guess she was in a good mood or she just had chocolate milk for breakfast?
“Looks like you’re in a good mood today” she responded

“Unni, did you know that Taemin is a pervert?” What the?
“Yunni, what are you talking about?!” I shouted at her as she kept telling untrue things about me to Aeri Noona
“Yeah, and did you know that he once kissed a guy, lips to lips! Shocking, right?” That time Aeri Noona was laughing

“Ha-ha, funny Yunni!” I said annoyed
“Aw, are you mad that Aeri unni knowsabout your secrets or you wanna tell her yourself?” Yunni’s still irritating me

“You’re dead meat!” I run after her as she went out the room and sprint all over the school as I was following and trying to catch her.
“Gotcha!” I grabbed on the jacket she was wearing
“Mianhae~” she looked at me with those puppy-dog eyes that made me really, really… forgive her.

“Come on, we have to practice for that really big program for the school!”
“Araso!” she was so happy that day that even I don’t know what the cause is.

It was already ‘going home’ time for all the students.
“Noona, where are you going?” I was a little bit sarcastic; of course she’d be going home
“To that flower shop. I’m going to buy my Mom some roses for the room she renewed. Wanna come with me?” she asked me with her eyebrow heaving.

“Sure. I’d love to” I retort

[Aeri’s POV]
“So nice to have a little man coming with me in the shop full of flowers” I said at him smiling
“It’s much nicer coming in this shop with a pretty noona” he’s such a sweetie, I can’t believe I’m really with him

He helped me pick some beautiful roses. “Keep the change~” I said as I hand over my payment to the saleslady

“You’re going home?” I asked him as we left the store
“Oh, yeah~” he started to act a little prickly with me “Okay, don’t worry about what happened earlier. It’s not that really funny, I just wanna get closer with Yunni that’s all” I stated

“He-he. Bye Noona!” she bowed 90 degree at me and walked alone

I was a bit motivated with him. He’s just really sweet and nice to me. I guess he have a crush on me. You’ll never know.

[Yunni’s POV]
Next day after class in their dance club official private room…

“Where do you think Aeri Noona is?”
“Will she be practicing with us today?”
“I wonder how she is today.” Taemin started to asked me questions that I didn’t even tried to answer, I just keep an eye on him until he finally stands up and plunks beside me

“Will you answer my questions?” he suddenly said after pausing for few seconds. I rolled my eyes and walked toward my things and pack up

“How will I know? We’re not even that close. We’re just both girls but we also think different~” I retort as I put my water jag in my small hot pink backpack.

“Are you mad or something?” he abruptly comes up with that really startling question
‘Am I mad?! Obviously, YES! Can’t you see that from my face?!’ I want to shout it but I can’t, he doesn’t feel the same as I feel for him.

The door suddenly opens. It was my dear, loving cousin—Jonghyun Oppa
“Sorry to bother you two again but—,” I didn’t let Jonghyun to finish his sentence, instead I speak myself
“Wrong timing oppa, I can’t come home early today. I’m actually going to Taemin’s place” I said dragging Taemin’s arms
“You are?” Taemin looked at me unusually with his eyebrows all wrinkled up

“Yes, I am! Let’s go” I drag him towards the door
“Bye Jonghyun!” I said before leaving the area
“But… but… No use” I heard he’s voice slowly fading


“Are we really going to my place?” Taemin asked me oddly as I still drag him somewhere
“Yeah. But where’s your place?” I don’t know where his house is coz obviously, I haven’t been there

“It’s this way~” Now he’s dragging me

When we reached the front yard, I stared at it for a couple of seconds
“It looks better than mine, c’mon!” I pulled him inside even though I’m just new there

Taemin let me sat down on their couch
“I’ll be changing. Wait there” he said then left

I keep staring at their ceiling, and every corner of the house, trying to act curious which I really am. Then suddenly, Onew walked right in front of me, like he didn’t notice me, I mean how can he, he’s trying to text message someone as I can see he’s holding a phone, I watched him as he pass while me dringking a chocolate milk I bought earlier but…

“Who’s this?” he looked at me curiously “Ah, you’re Yunni right. I know I saw you somewhere” he added then smiled at me gladly
“Hello~” me feeling a little awkward

“We haven’t met in person. I’ve heard so much about you. Let me introduce myself—I’m Lee Jinki or everyone else call me—Onew. And you are?” Now it’s getting more interesting
“I’m Kim Yunni~” me acting so shy but I really am not

“Can I ask you a really, really intimate question?” he started to stare at me weirdly
“Yeah, sure. What is it?” I asked

“Are you Taemin’s girlfriend?” now he’s getting on my nerves
“Uhm… Actually, I’m not” I have to tell him the truth apparently
“Oh, okay!” then he continued walking

“But I wish I am~” I whispered to myself

“I heard that!” he suddenly comes back to my side
“You’re not supposed to” What the hell did I do? I didn’t mean to overly say that out loud

“So you like Taemin~” he started to act suspicious
“No, I don’t!” I tried denying
“It’s nice to know someone like my dongsaeng~” he started to say silly things
“I… I don’t… Really” I tried to refute it as hard as I can but he just keep bugging me

“I can help you to be his girlfriend!” he suddenly stood straight and smile at me
“REALLY?!” and that’s when it became really obvious

“Hyung, what are you trying to do with Yunni?” Taemin kinda heard me shouting the word ‘really’ and he suddenly talked from the room

“Nothing!” Onew shouted back then he looked back at me
“Yeah. Before you leave, go to my room right over there. Let’s talk about our secret little plan.”

Right after what he said, I forgot that I was drinking chocolate milk and even if it’s hard for me to do this…
“Do you want some?” I have to ask that question even if I don’t want to

“Uhm… No… I know how much you love chocolate milk” he retort and that made me curious
“How did you know?” I asked with much more curiosity
“Taemin and Jonghyun told me. Talk to you later~” he then walks out holding ang phone on his hand

“So what did Hyung told you?” finally, Taemin come out from his room
“Nothing special. Just things that’s not really important~” I responded trying to escape the not so significant question

“So what are we supposed to do now?” he then asked another question
“I don’t know. Don’t ask me” I looked at him peculiarly

“You should just go home~” I’m not pleased to what he said, me going home? No way…
“I don’t wanna go home. I just got here. Why should I leave?” I make a great point but to his looks, he’s not happy

“You don’t want me staying here?” I tried doing the puppy-dog look that he can’t resist
“I’m… I’m not asking you to leave… I’m… I’m just… saying” it always works

“So what are we supposed to do now?” now I asked him
“I don’t know~” okay we’re now repeating what just happened earlier

“Let’s play with the kitchen!” he suggested a really weird implication
“What?” I asked while looking at him straightly in the eye with a really weird expression

“I don’t touch any cooking tools here. I just touch them when I want to play with them” childish Taemin, playing with cooking tools? So cute~
I just smiled at him, and then he brought me inside the kitchen which we found sparkling clean

“Are we allowed to mess things up?” I asked worriedly, coz I don’t own this house so I’m not allowed to touch anything
“They’re not gonna blame you. They’ll know it’s me who do the messing here. It’s actually my job” then he started to laugh.

“Come on. Let’s make them dinner!” he started getting some utensils which by now is still not really a good idea. I don’t really know how to cook as much as he does

“Can you fry some eggs?”
“Uhm… That at least I can do” that’s the only thing I can cook

“I’ll cook the rice” I’m not sure on what’s he’s planning

“Taemin, where are you?” a voice of a woman was heard from the outside
“Are you—Taemin!” she calls his name as she enters the kitchen
“What are you doing?!” now she sounds angry

“Annyeonghaseyo~” I greeted her to show my respect

“I didn’t know you have a visitor, hello. What a beautiful young lady” she smiled widely at me and show a really nice affection. That lady must be his mother; she looks somewhat in her early 40’s with no mark of wrinkles on her face but if she is his mother, why don’t they look any alike?

“I’m Kim Yunni. I’m one of Taemin’s friends” I introduce myself in a timid tone

“Are you sure you’re just friends?” she suddenly asked an intriguing question that made me really surprised
“Eomma, don’t’ ask her that kind of question. It’s really rude” Taemin’s voice somehow lower down a bit

“You’re really growing up. Why don’t you go to the convenient store and buy tofu. You’re brother might not eat again if we have no tofu” she said after messing Taemin’s hair

“Araso, eomma. But what about you?” Taemin asked looking at me
“I’m going home in just a minute so no need to worry” I explained

“Okay. Annyeong!” he said then run outside the house

Wah.. it’s much more longer than the 1st chapter… I said to myself.. ‘ah I got to cut it off here… it’s getting longer…’ well, I hope u enjoyed reading this chapter… chapter 3 will be out in just few days.. u just wait from where ur sitting

Oh yeah, the line ‘I’m unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him’ is from the movie/ book ‘twilight’. I just decided to get it from there since it’s really a hit and it’s my fave line… and the part where dey went to the dog shop is from yunhanam, when Taemin got picked and brought the noona there dey even wore couple clothes.. haha
