Final Chapter

[Taemin’s POV]
After few days of Yunni pleading me of her not coming to practice anymore due to all of those studying she was talking about, I finally let her. It was after our dance performance that we’ve been preparing for almost 2 months now. So we all decided that we should put the dance club on hiatus and closed the room for a month.

I don’t know why, but I feel sorry for myself. I guess I should study myself and not hang around this really stuffy place.

[Yunni’s POV]
I only have 2 weeks before that really HUGE test. I’m stressed out. I have to go back and forth to the library just to get some books which I don’t know if I’ll need them. I never studied this much before. I must’ve spent too much time on dancing. I know this isn’t the biggest test of my life but this is the biggest test of the year.

“Yunni~” someone whispered my name. I turned around, it was Taemin, and his face was almost an inch away from mine
“Taemin, what are you doing here?” I had to ask a question just to stop that staring “Are you stalking me?” unbelievable that I said that

“I’m not stalking you. It just a coincidence” he then grabs the book behind me with a really surprising respond

[Taemin’s POV]
I was practically stalking her, well, not totally stalking, just following her around, and trying to make sure she’s alright. I was wondering if she misses the dance room… and me. I can’t believe that I’m really studying or am I just hanging out here? Oh, wait, all this talking to myself made me lost Yunni, where is she?

“Boo!”
“You scared me to death!” I I whispered a shout but she just stick her tongue out
I grinned and followed her once again. She was trying to reach a book on top of the shelf.
“You won’t able to reach that~” I said trying to annoy her

But as I didn’t expect, she reached the book, as she reached in, I watch the shelf, and sense that…

“Yah, Yunni, look out!” I shouted

But she was out of her mind that moment and didn’t able to move so I run towards her and pushed her away

“Ah~” the next thing I know, my left leg is covered with few heavy books and everyone else were looking at me.

“Taemin, gwaenchanha?!” Yunni asked, I can feel that she’s really worried
“Can someone please help me?!” she yelled at everyone else and soon they realized that I was still in pain, they started to move and help me stand.

“Jonghyun, come to the school clinic, it’s an emergency!” that was Onew hyung reporting to Jonghyun hyung

“He’ll be here in a couple of minutes” he said smiling. “Are you alright?” he then asked me
“Hyung, it’s just a sprain.” I responded
“Yeah, but that might hurt”
“It’s different from your car accident” he just sighed and frown at me

[Yunni’s POV]
I was crying outside the school clinic door. I noticed some footsteps getting closer. I looked up and saw Jonghyun oppa staring at me.
“What’s happened?” he asked me “Why are you crying?” he keep asking questions while I keep crying.

And just when I was about to answer, Onew oppa came out from the room
“Hyung, finally. What’s up?” he went straight to Onew oppa
“It’s Taemin, he has a sprain” he answered while me keep crying

[Taemin’s POV]
I was hearing Jonghyun hyung talking right outside, so I tried to stand up from that really small bed and walked close to the door.
I listened to their conversation secretly

“Yah, Yunni, why are you crying?” they both keep asking Yunni which I was also curious about.

“Oppas, I think it’s my entire fault. I was in a spacing out and I’m not thinking” she keep sobbing

“Yah, it’s no one’s fault. It’s just the books can’t hold on that place” Onew trying to serene her.
“But what if he’s not able to dance anymore because of that?!” she shouted at both

“Well, that couldn’t be impossible.”
“JONGHYUN!” Onew yelled at Jonghyun

“I’m totally giving up after this” Yunni somehow speak up
“But I thought you already--,” Jonghyun paused as Onew hyung speak
“No, no you can’t. I thought you’ll try again after these exams are done?” I don’t know exactly what they are talking about

“But, can’t you see Onew oppa, he only thinks of me as his dongsaeng. It wouldn’t work out between us” is it me; the one Yunni is talking about?

“But you can’t give up now. He already given up on Aeri and he is already doing fine with you” Jonghyun trying to persuade her
“But we’re still not dating!”

“Speaking of Aeri, here she comes” Onew hyung looks at the hall

“I’m leaving!” Yunni suddenly stood up and run.

“What happened to her?” Aeri asked curiously
“She’s just really confused~” both Hyungs answered

I came out of the room “Where’s Yunni?” I asked for me not be caught that I was actually listening to them
“She left. And it’s all because of you~” Jonghyun sighed, Onew hyung just hit Jonghyun’s head
“I got to find her” I said and walked as fast as I can with a bandage on my left leg

“They’re totally in love with each other~” I can hear Onew hyung talking
“Wanna have some ramyeon?” I turn my back and Aeri noona was inviting them to go to the canteen and so they did.

Now, where can I find her again? How can I search for her if my left leg is hurt? I’m really unlucky today. I decided to go to their house and asked her mother about her
“She just left, she took Mushroom out; she said she might not come home early. Do you know where she’s going?”

MUSHROOM? I think I know where she’s going.

I entered the shop, and soon I heard the clanging of the bells as I passed the door.

“Yunni~” I called her name. She was feeding Mushroom and those other puppies
“Taemin, how did you--?” she was surprised, she hardly finished her sentence

“Why did you left the school clinic and pick up Mushroom? Is he more important than me?” I asked raising my left eyebrow. Then she started to cry.

“Stop crying, you’re being a baby!” I went closer to her.
“Don’t get any closer!” she exclaimed, but that didn’t stop me, I just move nearer and nearer to her until it was her face that my two eyes can see. She stared at me with tears falling from her eyes. I just wiped it.

“Why are you crying for no reason?” I asked angrily
“I… I…” then she started to cry again
“Yah. Stop that!” I was more annoyed

“I just think it’s better if you won’t see me even just for a week. I believe it was my fault why you got injured. And you might not have the chance to dance again!” she cry even louder and harder
“Don’t you think that’s a little exaggerated? And don’t you know that it hurts me more when you left me in the clinic and made me walk from there to here just to go after you?” I asked oddly which I know make sense

“Who told you to follow me here?!” and now she has a great point

At that spot, I calm her down. We sat on a couch and give her chocolate milk which I always bring incase of emergency. We stayed quiet for few minutes. We can only here the barking of the puppies. Even the owner wasn’t there because he knew that we wanted privacy though he OWNS this shop. I should talk to Yunni now.

“So now tell me everything. As in EVERYTHING” I told her to break the silence.
She was still sobbing, taking a sip on the chocolate milk, she finally speaks.
“I… I…”
“Don’t you even try to cry”

“I… I… I like you, okay! But what can I do if the apple of your eye is Aeri Unni?! And you seemed to think foe m only as your dongsaeng! What so good about that?! You don’t even know how I feel. Yeah, that only makes you STUPID!” that made my jaw drop.
“I was asking about the incident and you answered about your feelings for me, what now?” I was really being STUPID. I can’t just tell her ‘Yunni, I feel the same. Can that mean that we’re dating?’ that’s so immature of me

“Why do you have to ask that question?!” she was obviously mad. I really had no choice but to tell her the TRUTH—that’s been really stupid for hiding in so many years.
I held her hand; I wiped off her tears and stared at her—eye to eye.

“Weh?!” she asked still annoyed
“Yunni, I wasn’t expecting this but…” I paused. I was blinking every second which show that I was really nervous. And my heart was pounding hard.

“But… Honestly… I like you... back” her eyes widened for what I said, she still was confused

“I guess that’s why I didn’t want you to leave the club even just for a month, why I didn’t want you to leave my side, and why I don’t want you to be hurt. I guess that’s the only reason that I like you. Do you still feel the same?” this was a dumb line. I didn’t asked Onew hyung and Jonghyun hyung what to say in this kind of situation.

She nodded and clutched me harshly but I just grinned and clutch her back but lightly.

We walked back home slowly and carefully. People were eavesdropping on us. I can tell that they were annoyed yet still pity coz of the bandage on my leg. I was glad that Yunni was there supporting me. I can feel that she was still worried. The funny thing was Mushroom suddenly stopped and did his business; we just both laughed. We reached home—it was dark.

“Noona, why are you here?” I asked surprisingly when I saw Aeri noona playing the ‘fry-pan’ game with the Hyungs.
“I was just worried on both of you so I come with them.”
“We were worried, too” the hyungs said in unison

“Any great news?” Jonghyun Suddenly asked but me an Yunni just gave him an evil eye and slam the door

“Wah, it finally happen!” shouted Onew Hyung
“Let’s make a toast for that!” Jonghyun added
“And let’s just continue playing” Aeri noona made the Onew condition
“Yeah~”

I just gave Yunni one last hug for the night and she acted like my mother—tucked me gently to sleep
“Babo~”

Yunni, this was boring. I didn’t use the really sweet scenes that you do coz I’m not sweet myself.
